Comments:
This counting book doubles as a whimsical guessing game.  Ten dogs in a pet store window are claimed, one by one, by new owners.  As a prospective buyer approaches the window, the reader must try to match him or her to the most likely dog companion.  Which dog will the fireman pick?  Which dog will the Scottish highlander in a kilt(!) pick?  What about the big shaggy, sheep-dog-like hippy?  Kids and parents alike will have fun with this title.
