"Medico" would have been a more standard term than "doctor", but otherwise the translation uses pretty standard Spanish.
Comments:
Full page color photos accompany this collection of quick glimpses into what doctors do.  The quality of the photographs is generally quite good, and a fairly multicultural cross-section of people is portrayed.   I personally was bothered, however, by the lack of any connecting narrative thread... instead this title offers a series of random snapshots.  Just for comparison’s sake, Rebecca Hankin’s currently out of print "Puedo ser medico" (Children’s Press) offers a much better narrative.  Still, a reader who doesn't mind expanding on the narrative or is using the title with other books might find this a useful supplemental title.
