Join San Francisco’s Poet Laureate Alejandro Murguía, KPOO FM & Radio Bilingüe announcer Chelis Lopezas for a lively Día de los Muertos celebration in honor of Carlos Fuentes, one of the great Latin American authors of the 20th century. Special guests will include San Francisco State University Professor of Spanish Dr. Gustavo Calderon and Yvette Fuentes, a close friend of the Fuentes family. The program will include insights, stories, and videos related to his life and work. A book sale hosted by Modern Times Bookstore will follow the event.
