Congratulations to Sandra Aguilar, San Jose SLIS student and the recipient of the Rita Torres/ Bibliotecas Para La Gente Scholarship 2010/2011. Sandra’s application and experience has earned her the BPLG Scholarship and we send out our best to her.

Sandra’s history with libraries started off with tutoring in the homework center, later leading to four years as a Page at the Joyce Ellington, East San José Carnegie and the Hillview branches of the San José Public Library.
