Grito de Dolores and the Mexican Revolution: Standford/Bancroft Joint Exhibit

Saturday, January 1st, 2011

BPLG member Adan Griego, Curator for Latin American, Mexican American & Iberian Collections at Stanford, forwarded the announcement about the exciting joint exhibit between Stanford University and The Bancroft Library.   The exhibitions, showcase the extensive Mexican collections at both institutions and commemorate the 200th anniversary of Mexico’s independence from Spain and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.

You’ll have until mid-January to take in the collections and since there is very little overlap, visiting both universities will be a unique experience.  Spread the word and encourage individuals and public schools in your area to visit.
