Providing workshops, training, conferences, and written resources related to library services for Latinos and the Spanish-speaking
Disseminating literacy tools and information resources that can be used to serve Latinos and the Spanish-speaking at all libraries
Fostering close cooperation among libraries and librarians interested in serving Latinos and the Spanish-speaking
Contributing to the development of new methods for improving library services at all levels for Latinos and the Spanish Speaking
Helping to recruit prospective bilingual and bicultural librarians into the profession
Engaging in other educational and charitable activities as permitted by law
